How to become an Featured Artist?
Featured Artists are the finest group of artists selected and
juried from current 123soho Individual Artists category by a
panel of well-respected artists, critics and scholars from 123soho.com.
The jury will choose what they consider to be the most creative
and promising works for display on this web site. Feature artists
also own their personal home pages at 123soho.com website. They
are randomly promoted at 123soho home page at a certain period
of time.
What are
the differences between "Individual Artists" category and "Featured
Artists " category?
"Featured Artists" category involves
(a) 123soho Jury will perform a monthly evaluation on all submitted
artworks to 123soho "Individual Artists" category.
(b) 123soho Jury will then select the finest artists who will
be invited to become featurd artists.
(c) Once artists accept the honor, 123soho will be promotiong
their artists' home page to be listed and kept under the "Featured
Artists" category.
(d) No charge for such promoting service.
(e) Artists still require to use their established ID and Password
to access their "Artist Home Page". This page will
remain to be fully maintained, edited, updated by artists.
(f) All new featured artists and new uploaded artworks will
be listed at the "Featured Artists" category's home
page section.
"Individual Artists" category involves
(a) Self on-line registration and member fee is suggested to
be an voluntary payment.

If there is a sale occurred to an individual artist, 123soho.com
will take:
a. for all master/original piece of artworks -
Members of 'Premium' and 'Special' memberships
- 25% commission rate off the final sale.
Members of 'Standard' membership
- 30% commission rate off the final sale.
Members of 'Free' membership -
35% commission rate off the final sale.
All members at 'FreePosting' category
- 35% commission rate off the final sale.
b. for all reproduction piece of artworks -
All type of members - 50% commission
rate off the fianl sale.
How to update my Artist Home Page?
After using your registrated ID and Password to log-in,
an user menu will be given to you to lead you through the update
and upload process.
Any addition fee for updating information
at my Artist Home Page?
123soho encourages members to update their personal data and
biography information as often as possible. That is free of
charge. However, uploading images are suggested to pay a U.S.$5
fee per image.
If members choose to manage the uploads on-line by themselves,
this U.S.$5 fee will become an voluntary payment. In order words,
it will be their wish to pay or not pay the member registration

Category"?
Whether you are a professional artist or not, as long as you
have an artwork wanted to show others, "Free
Posting" is your perfect solution. It is a section
which allows you to free post your art works on-site along with
other individuals' works. It is also a section where you can
look for your favor art piece and leave comment to it. Note:
Be advised that once images of your art works are posted on
site, no deletion is allowed, except 123soho will delete and
remove any duplicated and in-appropriated images from site.
Is "Free Posting" category
is absolutely free to post artworks?
123soho offer a free space at "Free
Posting" category to post your artworks on site.
No fee is required. Simply go to our the "Post
Now" section to upload an artwork and see it
for yourself. You artwork will be seen over by thousands and
thousands of people in a day.
How to post artworks at "Free Posting"
category?
Step1. Take photograph of your artwork and have it scanned to
be an image file which should be in jpg or gif format. If digital
photograph is available, simply have it saved as jpg or gif
format.
Step2. Go to our "Free
Posting" category and select "Post
Now".
Step3. Follow the instructions listed at the on-line posting
form.
What is the recommended size of an upload
image of an artwork?
The recommended size of an image:
1. adjust the width to be at least 250 pixels and 432 pixels
at the most.
2. don't care in the height
3. image resolution at 72 dpi is suggested
4. image file size should not exceed 100K
5. be sure the image is saved as jpg or gif format
All the above steps are required some kind of photo editing
software, such as "Adobe PhotoShop" to manage.
Upload GIF files when operating at MAC
computers.
For MAC computer users, please save your image files as GIF

Do artists get their personal Artist Home Page at "Free Posting"
category?
Artists who wish to post artworks at "Free
Posting" category will not receive a personal
Artist Home page of their own.
