“The Best of 123Soho – 2006”

123Soho.com announces the opening of its second international show of contemporary art: “The Best of 123Soho – 2006”. The second five artists selected by our panel and displayed during the month of March, 2006 are: Stephen Yadzinski (United States), Tatyana Kuznetsova (United States), Nico Puertollano (United States), Christina Dy (Philippines), and Nathaniel Donnett (United States), The artworks being displayed on www.123Soho.com were culled from over 1,557 entries. The entire show consists of 30 art works. The next five will be displayed in April.

123Soho.com was established by Chin Chih Yang in early 1997 as a virtual museum and library of contemporary artists. Each day, he reviews newly submitted works, and serves as curator of the web site. Currently, 123Soho has approximately thousands artists represented by 20,000 artworks. Over millions people have visited the web site since its inception. Chin Chih Yang regards 123Soho as a living piece of art that continuously evolves and changes the relationship between artist and audience, artist and collector, artist and curator, and artist and the publishing industry.

The jury responsible for the selection of the artworks consists of Chin Chih Yang (Artist and Chief Curator of 123Soho), Heidi Jain (Photographer and former Instructor at Mercer and Brookdale Community College), and Carol Heft (*Part Time Lecturer, Drawing, Muhlenberg College, Allentown, PA, 1999-present. *Staff Developer/ Mentor, Artist/Instructor, Studio in a School Association, 1987-89 and 1999-present. *Conduct workshops, lectures, and studio visits to undergraduates and graduate students at Hunter College and the New School University, 1995-present).
