I came across six black and white prints (4\" X 6\") all have the name Hel Braun, Clement & Cie in lower right hand corner. In the left corner of the print entitled \"Les cerfs\" is printed \"Rosa Bonheur Pinx\"; the next print is entitled \"Le Peintre de portraits\" and in left hand corner \"E. Meissonier Pinx\"; next print entitled \"Le Reve\" and left hand corner \"F. Detaille Pinx\"; the next is called \"Les Grenadiers a cheval a Eylau\" and in left corner \"Ed. Detaille Pinx\"; the next is called \"Le coup de l\'etrier\" and in left corner \"Leon Girardet pinx\"; the last print is called \"Le nouvel officier de la garnisen\" and in left hand corner \"J. Girardet Pinx\". Also underneath last print is the words \"Copyright 1899 by Braun,Clement & Cie\". These little prints have obviously been framed at one time. What are they? and Are they of any value? I appreciate any replies. Thank you.

I am searching for any information I can find on some unusual color etchings by Mattel that I have. I\'m a total amature and know nothing about art or etchings, I\'m not even totally sure that these are etchings. What makes these unusual to me is the way they are mounted. They are between a piece of wood and plate glass. The border of the glass is mirrored and reverse painted to give the appearance of a frame as shown in the picture below. I got these from a 92 year old aunt that recently passed and I know that she had them for forty or more years. Any information on these or where I might look to find information would be greatly appreciated.......Jim

I have a watercolour? which has been in the
family since the early 1930\'s which is signed
by D. Harting. It is entitled \"Brouwersgracht
Amsterdam\" and the bottom left says

I have an oil print on canvas by, Norman Rockwell. The Homecoming May 26 1945.His name is in the right hand corner at the bottom, Do original artist\'s names always appear on reproductions? Are people allowed to do this? It looks like his head in sticking out of the door way with a pipe in his mouth.

I recently purchased a painting.It is a nude, done perhaps in the 60\'s.After going over it very well we did find a signature that appears to read Lupetti.We researched and found it could be a Roberto Lupetti.Is there someone in central Virginia that could authenticate this for us?Any help would be appreciated.Thanks

can you tell me anything about a piece of art which looks like a water color.in the left bottom corner it says eau forte originale and in the bottom right corner the signature is hard to read but it looks like c freys or
c freps. on the back in pencil it says rue du chejalies de la bame.

details. 1st title:street in sidibou said,2nd title:bob el khadrajunis,3rd title the medina,casa blanca, 4th title:mosque of abder-pihman algiers. can you tell me anything about the history or if thet are of ant value. thanks,

I have a big print, I believe, in a beautiful frame my aunt both for it! It is a picture of french people during marie antoinette time, they are dancing, playing music, in a beautiful room beautiful costumes, wigs etc. both men and women! It is signed G. Pagliej. My aunt is deceased now she would be close to a 100. She bought this print or picture in the 50ties in Louisville Ky. My cousin, her son said it was valuable! Don\'t know! I am in a College watercolor class, and other student and I are having problem with mixing colors. After being mixed, the color will seperate. everytime go back to get more color you have stir the color again and again. The brand i am using is Grumbacher Academy. Why is this happening and how could it be prevented?
