Artist's Statement

|
M
y works are mainly on paper:
drymedia (drawings) - sepia crayon, soft pastels
watermedia - watercolor, gouache
mixed-media - combination of soft pastels, watercolor and gouache.
My palette
yellows up to browns: cadmium and indian yellow, ochre, sienna, umber, sepia
reds: indian red, alizarin crimson
blues: cobalt, phtalo and prussian blue, ultramarine, indigo, Payne's gray.
My subjects
a light - mainly in landscapes, cityscapes
and cats - of course :)
I like to work in series (the same subject, palette, style, format), to penetrate deeply just one subject. For example: shadows and reflexions in Venice cannals, or different green tones of Tuscany landscape, or characters expressed on cats 'faces'.

Artist's Statement
|
|
|
I
value my artistic freedom and independence. Painting / drawing is not a labour for me, but my life style. In art creation process I don't accept any deadline nor obligations. It's why I don't paint on request. Also, I don't copy my works, but some of them are available as giclee.
