The drawing on which this lino cut was based as one of several done on a pleasantly and unexpectedly warm day in February 1997.  The print shows a contrast of naturally occuring patterns, agaist black and white areas.  The foreground imitates woodgrain which in a previously cut print was used to represent the flow of currents.
