Jane Dell Jane Dell's present work uses images from Greek Mythology
to explore the relationship between rationality and the emotions. The Greek gods are
known to be arbitrary, capricious and unpredictable. They dictate and do battle with
each other and the forces of nature. In most of Jane's paintings Poseidon, the
unchallenged master of the seas is nonetheless confronted by forces beyond his control.
