Pierre Templay is an artist whose work has been exhibited internationally over 20 years.   His works is in various museum collections in France.  He was the first computer artist to be included in the collection of the Carnavalet Museum is Paris.

Mr. Templay, who is currently the Visual Studies Instructor at Toronto Ryerson Polytechnic University, was born in Quebec City and lived and worked for many years in Paris, France.  He holds two Bachelor degrees, in Graphic Art from Laval University and in Photography from Ryerson, respectively.  He has a Master degree in Fine Arts - Art and Technology of Image - from University of Paris VIII.   From 1989 until 1998, he worked as a multimedia designer at Bayard Presse in Paris.   He also taught part-time at Parson's School of Design, Pairs, Advanced Computer Imaging.  His work can be seen on CD-ROM in the Virtual Museum of Quebec Photography, produced by Vox Populi, in Montreal.
