Mr. Glassic now lives in Lake Harmony, Pennsylvania, and is currently taking classes at Luzerne County Community College in hopes of attaining employment as a graphic designer.

David L. Glassic was born on August 3, 1973, in Shamokin, Pennsylvania, the seventh child in a family of eight.  He grew up in a normal Catholic family; however, his life experiences and determination to find the truth about God eventually led him to a small, rural, Mennonite Church, which he still attends.  He doesn't like to be labeled by any denomination though; he just calls himself - 'Christian'.

Most of Mr. Glassic's artistic ability was developed while attending Catholic school - in Math, History and Religion classes - He took no formal art classes in high school.  After high school, he went on to receive a Bachelor of Arts degree at Bloomsburg University.  His concentrations are in painting, drawing, and ceramics.  After graduating from college in 1996, his life was filled with various forms of employment.  His financial need forced him to set his art aside.  He was married in June of 1999; it wasn't until then that he finally began to pick up his pencil again.  His work is focused on, although not limited to, the spiritual, and is based on honoring God, and spreading God's message.  "The Jesus Picture" was one of the first results of his work.
