John B. Guiliani, born in 1932 in Greenwich, Connecticut, is the son of Italian immigrants.   He studied at the Pratt Institute in New York City, and was ordained a Catholic priest in 1960.

During the following 15 years, he taught Latin, Humanities and American Film at the Bridgeport Diocesan Seminary as well as at Fairfield University and Sacred Heart University, both in Fairfield, Connecticut.

In 1977, Fr. Guiliani founded the Benedictine Grange, a small monastic community where he oversees a variety of ministries growing from the contemplative life.

In 1990, he began painting once again with emphasis on iconic depictions of Native American people as Christian saints.  Recently installed in the Crow Church of St. Dennis in Montana are 14 large panels depicting the Marian mysteries.

Presently he is completing two large panels for the Church of St. Gregory in South Carolina - one of St. Gregory and the other of the Holy Family.

Fr. Giuliani's work has been exhibited in the Church of St. John the Divine in New York City; the New Britain Museum of American Art in Connecticut, several universities; and is currently represented by three works in "Faith: the Imprint of Judeo-Christian Religion on Contemporary Art" at the Aldrich Museum in Ridgefield, Connecticut.
